Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).


On arrival you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. Tonight, meet fellow guests and your APT Tour Director during a briefing and a Welcome Dinner at your hotel.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City, Long Tan OR Cu Chi Tunnels

Today you are able to choose from two Signature Invitations. On the first, journey to Ba Ria and learn about the Battle of Long Tan. Afterwards, attend a memorial service at the Long Tan Cross. Alternatively, visit the fascinating Cu Chi Tunnels. Tonight, enjoy a Luke Nguyen-inspired degustation dinner, complete with matching wines at Xu Restaurant.


Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City, Freedom of Choice, Embark Ship

Day 4: Cai Be, Sa Dec

Breakfast • Lunch • Dinner

Go ashore in Cai Be to visit a local rice paper manufacturer. Later cruise to Sa Dec. Here, enjoy a boat ride, learn the story behind Marguerite Duras’ novel The Lover and visit a traditional Cao Dai temple.


Day 5: Tan Chau, Evergreen Island, Border Crossing

Breakfast • Lunch • Dinner

Today, tour Tan Chau by rickshaw, then explore a remote evergreen island. This afternoon, perhaps attend a fruit-carving demonstration on board while border formalities are carried out and you cross into Cambodia.


Day 6: Phnom Penh

Breakfast • Lunch • Dinner

Perhaps rise early to take in Phnom Penh’s river promenade as your ship nears the capital. Disembark in Phnom Penh and set off on a moving excursion to the infamous Killing Fields, before visiting the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Later, take a guided tour of the Royal Palace, and Silver Pagoda, located on the south side of the palace complex.


Day 7: Phnom Penh, Koh Chen

Breakfast • Lunch • Dinner

Spend the morning at leisure in Phnom Penh. Later today, cruise to remote Koh Chen, a small village specialising in copperware. On arrival, visit some home workshops that manufacture interesting handmade copper souvenirs.


Day 8: Oudong, Kampong Tralach

Breakfast • Lunch • Dinner

Disembark in Prek K’dam and set off on a tour of Oudong. Experience a Buddhist blessing at the monastery, then visit Wat Kampong Tralach Pleu before an ox-cart ride back to your ship.


Day 9: Kampong Chhnang

Breakfast • Lunch • Dinner

Enjoy a boat excursion into the wetlands near Kampong Chhnang. Then return to your ship and cast off towards the lake of Tonle Sap. Tonight, enjoy a Farewell Dinner on board.


Day 10: Disembark Cruise, Siem Reap, Freedom of Choice

Disembark for the final time and transfer to your hotel in Siem Reap. Choose from a range of restaurants tonight, each is sure to impress you.

Day 11: Siem Reap, Angkor


Head to the Angkor Archaeological Park this morning. Here you’ll visit the Great City of Angkor Thom, which includes the architectural masterpiece of Bayon. In the afternoon, explore the temple of Ta Prohm, famous for its intertwined trees. Later, visit the Opportunities of Development thru Art (ODA) centre that supports disadvantaged children.


Day 12: Siem Reap, Angkor, Freedom of Choice

Today is your chance to discover the splendour of Angkor Wat in the hazy morning glow. After touring the iconic temple, gain a fresh perspective of Siem Reap during your selected sightseeing activity. You might like to visit the temple of Wat Preah Prom Rath and participate in a Buddhist blessing. Alternatively, join a fun Apsara dance class, or take off on a thrilling quad bike adventure. Other options include a leisurely bicycle tour; a traditional cooking class; or indulging in a relaxing spa treatment. This evening, reflect on your experiences with your fellow travellers at a Farewell Dinner.


Day 13: Siem Reap, Depart
